All Names and Associated logos are ©2008-2010 of SM-Radio and must not be used externally without the sole permission of the respective owners. All DJ's are in full control of their own stream and are again responsible for Fully naming their tracks and broadcasting correctly under the licence agreement. SM-Radio complies totally with the "Data Protection Act 1998" and none of your details collected by SM-Radio will ever be sold or passed on. 

COPPA - Children's Online Privacy Protection Act

Although we say we accept any age DJ's here at SM-Radio, we are now fully aware and comply with COPPA which states any data we collect about a child under 13 weather that be Emails or other contact details we must 1st apply for parental consent. We will be happy to have under 13's at the site but all valid paperwork must be filled out. If your child ever does work at SM-Radio, We may collect the following data; email/instant messenger accounts, name, location in country "not specific" and ip. All this information such as email will be shared with all other staff at sm-radio for contact purposes such as radio switch over. Please be aware SM-Radio strive to make sure your child is safe at all times whilst on SM-Radio and if you have any issues regarding safety please feel free to use the contact email at the bottom of this page. Terms Of Use

To keep everyone safe and enjoy their stay at SM-Radio we enforce strict Terms of Use which must be followed or ban will follow. 

        Sections:

  1.1 General Use OF SM-Radio

Whilst using SM-Radio you must not;

  1. Violate any terms in this T.O.U or Break any laws
  2. Abuse or disrespect other parties
  3. Attempts to gain access or gain access to restricted areas of the site without authorization
  4. Attempt to disrupt broadcasting or effect the users experience in a negative way on SM-Radio by any means
  5. You must not claim ownership to any part of sm-radio as all respective owners have been referenced.

1.2 Request And Shoutout

We encourage all our users to use the Request and Shoutout Line but you must not;

  1. Spam or Mass Message the system
  2. Cause or attempt to cause offence to listeners or DJ's 
  3. Claim or fake someone's identity
  4. Use the system to hack or gain entry into other areas of the site

We collect all IP addresses of all users that use our request line so everyone can be identified if breach of this terms of use occurs. You may find if you do breach this you will be banned from using the request line and maybe other services around the site for any length of time we see fit.

1.3 Chat Room

We want all users to enjoy the chat room and SM-Radio respect the right to freedom of speech but you must not do the following:

  1. Violate any terms in this T.O.U or break any laws
  2. Abuse or Disrespect any other user
  3. Spam or Mass Message the System
  4. Link to sites with similar related content to SM-Radio "unless approved by matt or steve"
  5. Link to sites that have virus intent
  6. Link to sites of Illegal pornographic intent or what some may consider offensive
  7. You may not also link to sites that link to any of the above (We recommend linking to "McAfee Site Advisor" Green sites only)

SM-Radio admins hold the right to Kick or Ban you from the Chat room at any point they feel. You must also respect that we cannot moderate the chat room at all times so anything you find offensive please print screen, save and then email to us to the email at the bottom of this page.

1.4 DJ'ing With Sm-Radio

When you are with us at SM-Radio you must follow all the rules stated on this page and the rules that you will find in the plugins section of our DJ Panel. When you are with SM-Radio you are a volunteer of this site and must respect all decisions the admins make. Admins at sm-radio hold the right to remove you from the staff panel and disallow you from DJing at any time for any reason. You must never allow other users to log into your DJ panel account nor must you ever hand out our radio details to any one! Anyone asking for radio details must be told to log into the panel to check the radio details section. 

As well as following all guidelines in this section you must follow the full set of rules in the plugins area.

1.5 Forum + Games Section

The forum is a place where we allow many things to be discussed but please do not:

  1. Violate any terms in this T.O.U or break any laws
  2. Abuse or Disrespect any other user
  3. Spam or Mass Message the System
  4. Link to sites with similar related content to SM-Radio
  5. Link to sites that have virus intent
  6. Link to sites of Illegal pornographic intent or what some may consider offensive
  7. You may not also link to sites that link to any of the above (We recommend linking to "McAfee Site Advisor" Green sites only)
  8. Break forum rules which are clearly stated on the site
  9. Cheat or attempt to gain highscores by other means
  10. Post offensive comments inside the highscore comment area
  11. Use "Google" for quiz based games see section 1.5.9

The forum is moderated so if you find anything offensive on the forum please use the report button "yellow warning sign" found at the bottom of each thread and a moderator will view the case ASAP

SM-Radio hold the right to remove your forum account at any point for any reason

If your highscore does not register for any reason we are not held responsible for it as the games section has not been created by SM-Radio and we are sorry for any annoyance this has caused and we will contact the creators to attempt to fix the issue but we cannot add scores manually

1.6 Final Disclaimer + Contact

SM-Radio hold the right to remove the service from any user who does not comply with all the above or for any other means we see necessary. SM-Radio cannot be help responsible for any damaged caused by clicking links supplied by users in forums and chat rooms.
